• One-time Reduction Per Month: Mess reduction is permitted only once in a calendar month.
• Minimum Reduction Days: The number of mess reduction days should be at least 5 days.
• Actual Reduction Days Calculation: The effective reduction days will be calculated as (No of Reduction Days applied - 2 Days).
• Advance Submission Required: The reduction form must be submitted well in advance.
• Submission Deadline: No reduction form will be accepted after the mess bill calculation for the previous month, which is generally on the 1st day of the month.
• Hostel Stay Not Allowed: During the mess reduction period, staying in the hostel is strictly prohibited.
• Separate Applications for Each Month: Students are advised not to club two months in one application. A separate application must be submitted for each month.
